The Command had on Friday 11th June, 2021, allayed the fears of the general public on the rumoured sit-at-home order, possible break down of law and order and total shut down of the state by some individuals who planned to disguise under the Celebration to cause panic and disrupt security in the state.

ASP Sunday Abutu, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, said while confirming the incident to newsmen in Ado Ekiti that the command received a formal report from the Divisional Police station in the area, establishing the fact that the farmer was indeed abducted.

It was learnt that due to a cult-related clash in Ogwashi-uku where three suspects were arrested on Sunday, June 6th, the Commissioner of police Delta State Command, CP Ari Muhammed Ali  issued a directive to the Command state anti cult unit. 

It was learnt that on Friday,  at about 1630hrs while team Eagle-net special squad were on routine patrol/stop and search along Ughelli-Port Hacourt Road, intercepted a Mazda 626 saloon car dark green in colour with Reg. No. UGH 722 AA with six occupants of two males and four females all occupants were asked to come down from the vehicle for searching. 

It was gathered that on Sunday, June 6, 2021 based on a tip-off, the command succeeded in smashing a notorious syndicate of thieves that specialises in house breaking and theft of motorcycles terrorising Katsina metropolis.

It was learnt that on Wednesday 9th at about 1600hrs, based on credible intelligence, the Command succeeded in arresting one Ibrahim Lawal alias Kabo, 45, of Kabobi village and Mamman Lawal Shu’aibu, 39, of Garin Runji Fulani settlement of Batsari LGA. 

IRT Legal Officer, ASP Nosa Uhumwangho, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the decongestion was prompted at the instance of the unit, due to the prolonged strike by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).
