The Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed, has described the death of Hajiya Aisha Omoagba Baraje, mother of Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, as a big loss and difficult vacuum to fill.
In a condolence message signed by his Chief Press secretary, AbduIwahab Oba, Ahmed said the death of Hajiya Aisha “at a time when his son, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, is leading a political reformation and realignment in the country is such a devastating and shocking news”.
He added: “We are, however, consoled that the deceased lived a pious life worthy of emulation and is also survived by a son, among other children, who has shown uncommon commitment to the progress and development of the country with great sacrifice and dedication.”
Ahmed admonished the family of the deceased, particularly Alhaji Baraje, to see the death of Hajiya Aisha as an act of God while praying Allah to grant the deceased the best of paradise and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
