The Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Judith-Chukwu Ibadin, Commander of NAPTIP in Anambra State, stated this in Awka in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, eight suspected human traffickers were also arrested in the process just as efforts are on to apprehend other members of the trafficking syndicates still at large.

The operation also led to the rescue of 13 Libya-bound victims of human trafficking, made up of two boys and 11 girls just as the agency has commenced manhunt for two other members of the trafficking ring whose names were given as Bose and Ismeal
The corps’ Head of Operations in the state, Anthony Ogbodo, told newsmen in Awka on Wednesday that the suspect, a 36-year-old driver, was arrested on Onitsha-Awka Expressway.
