Court dismisses suit against ex-Gov. Timi Sylva

A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a case of fraudulent enrichment brought against a former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timi Sylva.

The case was instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

A similar case ran into troubled waters after the initial prosecutor, Festus Keyamo, withdrew from the case.

At the last hearing of the case, there was also a face-off between prosecutors from the office of the Attorney General of the Federation and the EFCC.
