Justice Inyang Ekwo-led Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Monday nullified the APC primaries which saw the emergence of Uba as the party’s governorship candidate in the November 6 election.
Justice Inyang Ekwo, in a judgment on Monday, held that Uba was never a candidate in the election having emerged from an illegally conducted primary election by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Uba said this in a statement titled, ‘Senator Andy Uba Rejects the outcome of Anambra Governorship Election,’ signed by the spokesman for his campaign organisation, Jerry Ugokwe, on Thursday.
The APC chieftain made his position known on in an interview he granted the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday.
He made the commendation during a press interview in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra on Saturday when he arrived his Uga Ward 1 to cast his vote at polling unit 17.
He told reporters after voting at the Okwute Primary School, Uga, that with the number of defections of major political bigwigs to APC, it would be almost impossible for him to lose the election.
