Bala Usman, the Coordinator of the Federal Government’s Special Intervention Program in the state, made this known while speaking to news men in Dutse on Friday.

He said the ultimatum followed a directive to all Commissioners of Police nationwide to commence the disarmament and recovery of all prohibited firearms in possession of militias, bandits and vigilante groups.
Busari, who inspected the project, said the first phase which covered 34 kilometres had been completed, while work on phase II, covering 33 kilometres from Kirikassama in Jigawa and Nguru in Yobe was ongoing.
Toluhi, who stated this after inspecting the project in Dutse on Sunday, said the project involved 78 housing units.
