The residents of Asaba, the Delta State capital, for the first time ever experienced the most controversial photo shoot as the flyover bridge at inter-bua roundabout was exclusively shut down for the Delta Fashion Week Event promotional photo shoot, which left commuters in awe.
This is the first time the state is experiencing this huge and most talked about photo shoot in any city.
Delta Fashion Week is an open source youth-run organization focused on providing a platform for youths/designers, buyers, media and fashion enthusiasts to view collections from leading designers across Nigeria and Africa who want exposure but do not have the finance for international shows, to explore their interest in fashion while showcasing their artistic talents.
The first edition of Delta Fashion Week will take place at the prestigious Orchid Hotel Asaba on August 10, 2018.
Presentations will take an intimate salon-style format.
The collection showcase will be followed by a client-designer reception adopting the “see now, buy now” model that allows clients shop or order straight.
Delta Fashion Week founder, Clement Ogudu, said: “The event will grace popular designers from all round continents and top celebrities from the entertainment industry, The event which will hold on 10th of August with features like Marketplace exhibition/inside exhibition and runway showcase will take place at the event center of Orchid Hotel in the heart of Asaba.
