A statement issued on Tuesday in Abeokuta by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the suspect resided at Ayedi Street, Isale Ake, Abeokuta.
It said that the suspect, who confessed to the crime, lured the girl with a N50 note and took her to his room where he forcefully had carnal knowledge of her while the mother of the victim was away.
