Nigeria’s former Vice President and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar, has conveyed a thank you letter from President Muhammadu Buhari to President Jacob Zuma on the South African leader’s support for the candidature of Nigeria at the just concluded election into the position of the president of the African Development Bank.
Nigeria’s former Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina, won the presidential election held a fortnight ago.
Abubakar had before the election also on behalf of Buhari embarked on a diplomatic shuttle to Zuma to solicit support for the candidature of Akinwunmi.
