President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to lead a presidential team to the finals of the African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire will lock horns in the final game at 9pm on Sunday.
The Eagle Online recalls that Shettima was also in Cote d’Ivoire for the nerve wrecking semi final encounter between the Super Eagles and South Africa.
A statement on Saturday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of The Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, confirmed that Shettima will be at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on Sunday when the Super Eagles take on the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire, who they beat in the group stage.
