Speaking during an interactive session with newsmen at the Commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, Ogbuku said that some of the landmark projects to be inaugurated included the multi-purpose emergency shelters in Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers states, which would provide relief to Internally Displaced Persons, in the event of flooding in the Niger Delta region.

Ogbuku stated this in his keynote address during a seven-day personal financial management training programme for NDDC staff in Port Harcourt.
Speaking at the sidelines of the graduation ceremony in the UK, the NDDC Managing Director, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, underscored the need to celebrate academic excellence.

Ogbuku spoke during a three-day Capacity Building and Retreat for the staff of the NDDC Directorate of Finance and Supply in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Ogbuku stated this at the 13th Extraordinary General Assembly of the Forum of Monarchs in the South-South in Asaba.
Ogbuku made the appeal during the Annual Thanksgiving Service organised by the NDDC Christian Fellowship in Port Harcourt.
Ogbuku’s commitment was contained in a statement signed by the Agency’s Director, Corporate Affairs, Pius Ughakpoteni, on Friday.
Ogbuku, who gave the charge at the closing session of a two-week course on Leadership and Performance Management for directing staff of the NDDC in Abuja, said that the provision of quality services to the people of the Niger Delta was a collective responsibility and should be given priority.
