Emami, armed with a letter addressed to the Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers’ Council, His Majesty, Emmanuel Oyinke Efeizomo II, Obi of Owa Kingdom, stormed the state secretariat of the council in Asaba, the state capital.
It was still sketchy as at press time how the couple died, but their decomposing remains were found Monday in their Warri, Delta State residence
It was gathered that part of the newly renovated beach resort belonging to Chief Ayirimi Emami, the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, was ripped apart by the thunderstorm which swept through the riverine community of Ugborodo.
Emami and some palace chiefs were at the zonal Force Headquarters following a petition written by some undisclosed persons in the Kingdom over the alleged invasion of the Olu’s palace by unknown persons in which some items were reportedly stolen.
The controversy came to the fore on Monday.
