There was drama on Monday morning at the High Court in Igbosere, Lagos State as Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, refused to come down from the Black Maria that brought him to court for trial.
Evans is standing trial before Justice Adetayo Akintoye over allegations of kidnapping.
When the court resumed and the Judge was told about the refusal of Evans to disembark from the Black Maria, Akintoye asked that he “should be bundled” into the court.
A Warder of the Nigerian Prisons Service, who came with Evans to court, said it was the same attitude he exhibited at the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison where he is being held.
He said they equally had to drag him into the vehicle for onward movement to the court.
