The National Emergency Management Agency has called on the public to donate blood for treatment of the Zaria, Kaduna State bomb blast victims that have been evacuated to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika.
The Director General of NEMA, Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Sidi, made the call on Tuesday.
Sani-Sidi said the request was urgent to help in the survival of the victims that have lost much blood in the attack.
He appreciated the quick response in the evacuation of the victims and promised immediate supports of NEMA in the deployment of medical consumables and drugs for their treatment in the hospital.

Twenty-six lives were lost and 33 injured in the explosion that occurred at the premises of Sabon Gari Local Government Area Secretariat, Zaria on Tuesday morning.
