The wife of Ekiti Governor, Dr Yemi Oyebanji, has expressed commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged people through her pet project, Widows and Orphans Hope (WAOH) in the state.
They made the appeal in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), as part of activities to mark the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, in Gombe Tuesday.

The event, which was held on January 1, 2021, excited widows, numbering over 55, who went home with food items and financial empowerment.
Speaking shortly before the distribution of the food items in Gbaji, Badagry, Bonu said he was sent to the widows by the governor to give them the palliatives.
King Tonto, Founder of the NGO, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Abuja.
Tonto said the widows’ initiative was to provide financial support for widows.
