It was gathered that an executive member of the NFF from the South South is insisting that club owners should not have representatives in the Interim Committee.
In its Communique signed by Chidi Ofo Okenwa, at the end of its Annual General meeting, NFF foreclosed any possibility of the sacked board returning to office by approving the decision of the club owners.
At a meeting on Tuesday in Abuja, the Board also reversed several decisions it took in the course of the 2011/2012 NPL
“The NPL board had a meeting and it was agreed that I step aside temporarily to allow the three-man committee complete their investigations into the reasons behind the crisis of the NPL,” Baribote said.
