The Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, announced this in a statement.
He said the State has set up a four-man committee, led by the Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, to work with the deceased family and other stakeholders to immortalise and give Kanu a befitting passage of exit.
Kanu, a native of Isuikwuato in Abia State, died on January 13, 2021 at the age of 78, while Onyeabo died on January 12, 2021 at the age of 86.
His death was confirmed by RealNews magazine in a report in the early hours of Wednesday
