The Nigerian Army has developed indigenous language proficiency course for its officers and soldiers to enhance communication to aid their performance in internal security operations across the country.

Buratai said this on Monday at a media workshop organised by the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information at the 81 Division Officers Mess, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Spokesperson of the division, Lt.-Col. Olaolu Daudu, said in a statement in Lagos that the investigation followed reports in the social media on the alleged incident on August 19.
Buratai, who inaugurated the training school and other facilities in the 6 Division, Nigerian Army, in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, said the school would be used to train troops on regimentation.
