Odumosu gave the advice in Lagos on Monday in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

The policemen, who were on the way to their various duty posts alongside 78 others attached to the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Command, were attacked at Adekunle, Yaba, around 10am.
Lawal, a 25-year-old, was apprehended in Saturday.
As at press time, a detachment of policemen, led by the Area Commander in charge of Area N, Ijede, Assistant Commissioner of Police James Usen, was on ground to contain the crisis.

The policemen were injured on Wednesday at Oshodi Tapa Police Post, which was formerly used by the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad as satellite office.
