The two-day programme holds at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin, on 29 and 30 August.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Flykite Promotions, organisers of the event, on Tuesday. According to the statement, the firm’s are available to boxers aged between 18 and 25 at seven centres.
Alumona, who spoke in Lagos on Thursday, said his organization decided to have Ilorin host the programme, which seeks to find young boxers good enough for the professional cadre, because boxing administrators in other parts of the country demanded that it should be taken round.
The two-day programme, sponsored by pay television service provider, GOtv Boxing NextGen Search, explained the organisers, was developed to unearth young and talented amateur boxers, aged between 18 and 25, who are desirous of turning professional.
