In a further update on the appearance of popular musician, David Adeleke, at the Ikeja, Lagos State office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, it was learnt that the “Aye” crooner said his baby mama, Sophia, was a reckless spender when it comes to night clubbing.
In both his written and oral statements to operatives of NAPTIP, Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, said Sophia, cousin of former presidential aspirant, Chief Dele Momodu, spends between N250,000 and N350,000 at night clubs weekly.
And the further bad news: she does not pick up the bills immediately.
Rather, it is transferred to Adeleke.
Adeleke said he had received several calls from managers of such clubs to come over to pick up such bills.
He told the NAPTIP operatives that the most embarrassing was the day a club manager called his dad, Dr. Deji Adeleke, to come over to pay a bill incurred by Sophia and her friends.
He said such exorbitant lifestyle is what Sophia is used to, which has made her to demand for an increase in her monthly upkeep from N300,000 to N1 million.
Though not working, Adeleke said Sophia wants to acquire a Mercedes Benz Jeep in his compound.
He said he had offered to buy her a Toyota or Hyundai brand, but the mother of their child, Imade, turned down the offer.
However, her eyes are said to be firmly fixed on the Mercedes Benz, which was one of their points of departure.
