Six persons were killed and three others injured in terrorist attacks in Mandalay Region last Friday, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
Two citizens were killed by armed groups on the Mandalay-Mogok highway at around 1:45 p.m. local time, the police said in a statement.

Another three in Latpanhla village of Singu Town were attacked at about 4:05 p.m. local time, with one dead at the scene and two others wounded.
The third attack happened at around 4:30 p.m. local time when a family in Natgyi village of Ngazun town was recklessly attacked, with three dead at the scene and one wounded.
All the injured persons were sent to local hospitals or clinics for treatment.
