The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) has decried the refusal of Osun State Government under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola to allow the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to use the Osogbo City Stadium and Freedom Park for its mega campaign rally scheduled for Thursday July 14.
In a statement by ACPP Coordinator, Wole Adedoyin, it said Osun state government’s action clearly shows the level of intolerance and unjustifiable hatred for the opposition.
According to the statement, “We condemn the APC government under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his refusal to approve the use of Freedom Park and Osogbo City Stadium for the mega rally of the state chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP). The two properties belong to the Osun people and not APC; the public properties are being funded with Osun people’s money. It is, therefore, surprising that the people of Osun, who are members of the opposition party, are being denied the use of the public utilities.”
