All is now set for the unveiling of: “Sophie’s Bath and Body Essential,” a 100 per cent Made-in-Nigeria beauty brand.
The brand is led by Sophie Okoye, a CIAPS graduate of Productions and Operations Management.
The unveiling event will take place at CIAPS Lagos on May 26, 2018 and will be a Saturday morning of music, cocktails, business and professional mix and mingle plus surprise celebrities appearance to support the project.
A statement signed by CIAPS Administrator and Events Coordinator, Wunmi Adeguna, confirmed by the Centre Director, Prof. Anthony Kila, said the unveiling event and placements of the products is being managed by other CIAPS graduates of Business Development and Project Management.
The team include Mathias, Nwokoedia, Funmi Ogundare Maryann Akabuike and Aminu Sheu.
Kila further explained that this is an exciting and needed project as it combines the need for the country to groom and appreciate a new generation of trained, exposed and passionate producers capable of using what we have in Nigeria to produce what can be exported to the rest of the world.
The event is open to the public and businesses and it will be an opportunity for consumers to discover the products, which includes Black Soap Paste, Glow Scrub, Body Oil, Shea Mousse, Whipped Sea Salt Scrub, at specially discounted prices and for prospective resellers and other businesses to sign up with the brand.
The events starts at 10am.
