The Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime, has returned to Nigeria after spending 140 days outside the country.
Reports monitored independently and on Ray Power radio station had it that Chime returned aboard a British Airways flight that arrived Abuja on Thursday morning from London, the United Kingdom.
Chime, it was gathered, is in the Enugu State Governors Lodge in Abuja.
The Convener of Save Enugu Group, Maxi Okwu, equally confirmed the arrival of Chime.
It could, however, not be ascertained as at press time when Chime intends to return to Enugu State where there has been turmoil over his long absence.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Barrister Godswill Akpabio, had last week said Chime was going to return to the country within 10 days.
