The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Agboola Ajayi has won his polling unit.
Agboola who voted at Apoi Ward II, Unit 004 in Kiribo, Ese Odo Council Area of the state on Saturday, polled 194 votes to defeat his main rival, Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress who scored 003 votes.

The former deputy governor earlier voted at his Polling Unit alongside his wife amidst the heavy presence of security agencies including the Nigerian Police and Civil Defence.
Agboola alongside his wife, arrived at the polling booth at around 10:36 am and they were given the opportunity to vote before others who were in the queue.
The couple was accredited at about 10:45 a.m. for voting, chatted briefly with voters before leaving the polling unit with his black Jeep.
Speaking shortly after casting his vote, Agboola expressed displeasure over the conduct of the exercise, alleging gross irregularities in the ongoing governorship poll.
