A former Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Bunmi Ojo, has been shot dead.
The former Special Assistant to former Governor Segun Oni of Ekiti State was reportedly killed at a football viewing centre during the opening 2018-2019 Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Leicester City at Old Trafford.
The viewing centre is located in Adebayo area of Ado Ekiti.
The deceased was said to be from Ido Ekiti.
He was said to have been shot in the head and stomach.
The gunmen, who confirmed him dead, fled immediately after.
