Forty-nine patients of the Coronavirus Disease in Lagos State have been successfully treated and discharged on Wednesday.
This was revealed by the Lagos State Ministry of Health on its Twitter handle on Wednesday.
According to the information provided, those discharged were made up of 28 females and 21 males, including a foreign national, a Greek.
They were treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba and the isolation facility constructed by the Lagos State Government and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan.
While 18 were treated at the IDH, 31 recovered at the Onikan Isolation Centre.
They tested negative to COVID-19 twice each before their release from the treatment centres.
With the latest discharges, the Lagos State Government has successfully managed and discharged 187 COVID-19 patients.
