Controversial former Minister of Works, Chief Tony Anenih, emerged the most prominent name on the list of chairmen and members of Federal Government boards released late on Thursday by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim.
Anenih, popularly known as Mr. Fix It in the days of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s presidency, is returning to the board of the Nigeria Ports Authority as chairman.
Also joining Anenih on the board of the NPA is former Senator Florence Ita-Giwa.
Other boards, whose chairmanship and membership were reconstituted on Thursday by the Federal Government were the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety and the Corporate Affairs Commission.
Anyim, in the statement, said the date for the inauguration of the boards “will be announced in due course.”
