The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has suspended access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The development was revealed by the management of the airport in a statement it made available to newsmen on Saturday.
It said in the short statement that the suspension of the gate fees was to alleviate the traffic burden on airport road users owing to an ongoing construction.

It said this will be from January 24 2025 to February 7, 2025.
It said: “The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) wishes to inform the general public that, all access gates at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International International Airport are suspended to alleviate the traffic burden on our airport road users.
“We deeply empathize for the inconvenience caused by the ongoing construction and remain committed to ensuring a smooth travel experience for all road users.”
