Tyson Fury was said to have splashed out on a new £1.7 million seaside paradise for his wife and six children in Morecambe after completing his trilogy against Deontay Wilder with another victory.
The self-proclaimed Gypsy King twice climbed off the canvas to see off his bitter rival once and for all.
He made a fortune from PPV money in the process.
Thanks to his fourth fight in a row in Las Vegas, Fury’s earnings for that period have surpassed £60 million, and he recently admitted that he doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle.
However, one thing you can always splash out on is property, with wife Paris admitting last year that the family were in the process of moving due to constant knocking at their door.
The Mirror reports that their stunning new £1.7 million home is still in Morecambe and that they could still keep the £550,000 house they own that overlooks Morecambe Bay.
Paris had told ITV’s Loose Women last year that they were forced to consider moving houses because they had too many opportunistic fans knocking on their door.
She said: “We’re in the process of moving house because we’ve had too many people at the door – too many strangers knocking.
“We have people coming to the house and the kids are opening the door and we don’t know who they’re opening the door to.
“It’s not what we need. It’s not the ideal situation.”
Fury said of his life around Morecambe to 5 Live last week: “I’m not fighting to become the greatest of all time or to become a legend in the game.
“I’m not fighting for anything, I’m not fighting for a few more quid. It won’t benefit me at all to earn another £50m or another £250m. You could live my lifestyle if you had £10k.
“You don’t need to be rich to live how I live.
“I live a normal lifestyle, I’m just a normal person who happens to be very good at boxing and a very special chosen person.”
