A three-year-old boy, Enoch Olugbogi, has been abducted on his way to church.
Olugbogi was abducted at Oto Awori Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
He was said to have left his grandmother’s house around 10am on February 24 after abandoning his breakfast.
He was said to have gone to the United Africa Methodist Church, just a stone throw to his grandmother’s house.
It was gathered that he went there to play with the pastor’s children.
The victim’s father, Adegboyega Olugbogi, said it was a normal routine for his son to go to the pastor’s house to play.
Adegboyega said: “The grandmother was still preparing his tea and bread when he saw the pastor’s children and ran after them to play.
“We waited endlessly for him to return him and finished his food, but he didn’t. When we got tired of waiting for him, we went to the church to look for him.
“When we got to the church, they said Enoch had not been seen.
“We searched the whole community for him, but couldn’t find him.
“We reported the matter to Ijanikin Police Station for further assistant.”
