Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested three suspects in connection with the burglary of a container belonging to Adron Homes and Properties Company in the Ode Omi area of the state.
The suspects: Balogun Jamiu (58), Iginla Adekunle (48), and Ahmadu Tairu (44), were apprehended following a complaint lodged by the company’s Chief Security Officer, Jinadu Rasaq.
The Command’s Spokesperson and a Chief Superintendent of Police, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the development in a statement.

In the statement sighted by The Eagle Online on Saturday, the suspects, at approximately 10:15pm, allegedly broke into the company’s container and stole various building materials valued at N10 million.
The stolen items included two air-conditioning units, 14 packets of ceiling materials, one door, two electrical VB units, one packet of electrical pipes, five iron rods, one point wire, and three and a half packets of tiles.
Odutola said: “Following investigations, the case was referred to the Department of Criminal Investigation, where the suspects reportedly made confessional statements.
“We assure the public that after further discreet investigations, the suspects will be charged in court.
“Residents and business owners in the area are urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security agencies.”
