The Divisional Police Officer of Sango-Ota Divisional Headquarters, CSP Godwin Idehai, had earlier received a distress call that robbers were operating at Ipamesan area, and that they had already burgled a warehouse in the area.
According to the spokesman of the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the rescue operation was carried out on Friday.
The two suspects –Rasheed Ayinde, 20, and Matthew Oladipupo, 33, were sighted on a motorcycle by the Divisional Police Officer of Onipanu Division, CSP Bamidele Job, and his team.
