The Managing Director, Petroleum Products Marketing Company, Alhaji Umar Ajiya, has reassured Nigerians of adequate supply and availability of petroleum products to cover the yuletide and beyond.

The IPMAN chairman in the state, Alhaji Bashir Dan-Malam, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Kano on Tuesday.

The Managing Director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company, Umar Ajiya, has urged Major Marketers Association of Nigeria to regulate the volume of petroleum products dispatched to their member stations close to the borders.

According to him, the disappearance of long queues in Abuja is as a result of hard work and effort between sister agencies – the NPMC, Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, Department of Petroleum Resources and security agencies.

NPMC was unbundled from Pipelines and Products Marketing Company under Dr Ibe Kachikwu when he was the Group Managing Director of NNPC.
