“Ogun State police command arrested one member of a kidnap syndicate while one was gunned down at Ilala Forest in Imala area of Abeokuta North Local Government Area,’’ police spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said in a statement.

Spokesman for the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the attack in a statement, said the hoodlums lobbed Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) at the station and shot sporadically, before setting the police station and the police ablaze.
