The clerics made the plea in a communique issued at the end of the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria in Sokoto, held from September 6 to September 14.
The CBCN, in the communiqué released at the Closing Mass of the 2018 First Plenary in Abuja signed by Most Rev. Ignatius Kaigama, urged INEC to stop the registration of the underaged.
