This is sequel to its passage by the National Assembly and subsequent forwarding by the legislature to the President for assent.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on Nov. 8 presented a budget of N1.168 trillion with the theme “Budget of Reawakening”.

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on Monday, signed the N213 billion 2020 appropriation bill into law.

President Muhammadu Buhari has praised the National Assembly for ensuring detailed legislative review and passage of the 2020 Budget within two months.

The passage followed the consideration and adoption of the report of Senate Committee on Appropriation.

Buhari, who addressed the joint session of NASS at about, 2.03p.m., unveiled a budget of N10.33 trillion for the 2020 fiscal year.
