The Nigeria Police Force has been plunged into mourning following the murder of four policemen by suspected members of Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa.
It was gathered that the groups attacked the police quarters on February 2, 2024 and killed four policemen.
According to information from the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Borno State Police Command Intelligence Department, the report was received from the Superintendent of Police in charge of Nganzai Police Division.

A source further said: “On the 2nd of February, 2024, at about 11:13pm, Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists attacked police quarters at Gajiram town in Nganzai Local Government Area, firing sporadically.
“As a result, four policemen died on the spot, including two Inspectors and two Constables.
“One Sergeant Ya’u Ahmed is missing in action.
“The corpses have been evacuated to the military hospital Nganzai.”
