The Nigeria Football Federation on Monday accused Medview Airline of ambush marketing.
This is coming days after the leadership of the NFF warned companies against ambush marketing.
The NFF’s accusation against the airline was supported by a photographic evidence.
In the picture sent out to the media by the NFF spokesman, Ademola Olajire, a female fan was caught inside the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, Cross River State, wearing a vest with the inscription: “Medview Airline supports Super Eagles” during the World Cup qualifying game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
“This is a classical case of ambush marketing,” Olajire said.
The NFF spokesman was however silent on any further action against the airline.
