Wladimir Klitschko is considering making a comeback to accept a £35 million offer from DAZN, according to reports.
The three-fight deal would include rematches with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua and would make Klitschko an ambassador with the American streaming service.
The 42-year-old remains in fantastic shape and would still be a big enough name to join the likes of Jose Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr in helping to raise the firm’s profile.
According to World Boxing News, the former world heavyweight champion would get another crack at the two Brits who gave him his only back-to-back defeats in his incredible 69-fight career.
Fury bamboozled the Ukrainian in 2015 to take away his world title and status as ‘Lineal’ Heavyweight champion of the world.
His decision to walk away owing to substance abuse and depression gave Joshua the chance to mop up the scattered belts and offer Klitschko the chance to win them back.
After an epic battle at Wembley in 2017, ‘AJ’ eventually stopped the former champion, but fans clamoured to see the two do battle once again.
Klitschko subsequently retired, but was linked with a return to the ring earlier this year against Dillian Whyte, although it was quickly dismissed as ‘fake news’.
Tyson Fury’s new deal with ESPN means the chances of a rematch with Deontay Wilder is unlikely, but Joshua is also on DAZN – meaning a deal would be far easier.
‘Dr Steelhammer’ could well be the Brit’s next opponent after he locks horns with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller in June.
