A day after securing victory at the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal over his rival, Timipre Sylva, as winner of the last governorship election, the Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson, has been blessed with quadruplets.
Dickson’s wife, Dr. Rachael Dickson, was delivered of a baby boy and three girls in the United States of America.
The mother and children are said to be doing well.
A statement by Dickson’s Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said the blessing is particularly for the family and Bayelsans “because this bundle of joy is coming after many years of praying and waiting upon the Lord”.
Governor Dickson thanked his friends, family members and Bayelsans for their prayers and support and enjoined them to continue to pray for the family.
Our earlier story: Dr. Rachael Dickson, the wife of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, has given birth to a set of quadruplets
The birth of a boy and three girls is said to be coming after several years of marriage without a child of the Dicksons.
Saint Mienpamo, the Special Assistant on Research and Social Media to the Governor, is reported by DAILY POST to have confirmed the development.
Mienpamo was quoted as having said: “Governor’s joy knows no bound.”
The birth of the quadruplet is coming a day after the Court of Appeal affirmed the election of Dickson as the Bayelsa State Governor.
