A former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has told the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party that sacking the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, will be at their own peril.
Fayose spoke on a Channels Television programme: “Hard Copy,” a prerecorded show that is televised on Friday nights
The Eagle Online recalls that though Wike is still a member of the PDP, he accepted the ministerial offer of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Fayose told Hard Copy: “Some people say fight Wike, expel Wike, sack Wike.
“I think they do that at their own peril.
“You see, the first thing in your family even when you have extreme situations, or differences, is not to drive away your wife or husband.
“Wike is a force in the PDP and beyond PDP, a force you cannot ignore.

On the news that he himself was planning to dump the PDP for another party, Fayose said: “The moment I am not in the PDP, I would never join another political party.
