President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his message of congratulations to the former Permanent Secretary, State House, Nebolisa Emodi, as he celebrates his 60th birthday on August 25, 2021.
He lauded the career public servant for diligence, dedication and commitment to nation building.
In a goodwill message, signed by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, President Buhari rejoiced with family members, friends and professional associates of the engineer and administrator, who played a significant role in design and realization of infrastructure in the country, particularly in the Ministry of Transportation where he supervised efforts to resuscitate the railway system.
“As the Permanent Secretary that ensured smooth transition at the State House after the 2015 elections, President Buhari notes Emodi’s maturity, focus and skill in handling technical and sensitive government issues, demonstrating a high sense of loyalty and patriotism by placing the interest of the country above personal needs and gains.
“President Buhari affirms that the former Permanent Secretary had always distinguished himself and shone brightly,” the statement reads.
He prayed for him to have good health, strength and longer life.
