Breaking: Photos as Saraki, others storm National Hospital for Sen. Melaye

Melaye was moved to the National Trauma Centre of the National Hospital from Zankili Hospital, also in Abuja, after he jumped out of a moving police vehicle taking him to Lokoja in Kogi State

The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and other members of the Senate have arrived at the National Hospital in Abuja to check on embattled Senator Dino Melaye.
Melaye was moved to the National Trauma Centre of the National Hospital from Zankili Hospital, also in Abuja, after he jumped out of a moving police vehicle taking him to Lokoja in Kogi State.
The Senate had to suspend plenary on Wednesday for the visit to the hospital after an earlier delegation, led by the Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Ibn Bala Na’allah, was refused entry into the hospital by the police.
Saraki equally complained during plenary that he had been unable to reach the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, in the last 48 hours on the Melaye issue.
The senate delegation was still at the National Hospital as at the time of filing this report.
