The Court of Appeal has declared Gboyega Oyetola as the validly elected Governor of Osun State.
The judgement was delivered on Thursday morning.
There was, however, a dissenting judgement.
The court said the full judgment will be released later on Thursday (today), according to Oyetola’s lawyer, Dr. Basiru Ajibola.
The Election Petition Tribunal had before now ruled in favour of Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party.
However, Oyetola, who was declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, appealed the judgement of the Tribunal.
The election was held in September 2018.
