The representative of Bayelsa East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ben Murray-Bruce, has described former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as Nigeria’s next president.
The senator made his position known on Sunday on Twitter, few hours after Abubakar announced he has formally joined the Peoples Democratic Party.
Abubakar had last month announced his decision to quit the All Progressives Congress.
Murray-Bruce, elected on the platform of the PDP, tweeted: “Just watched @atiku, the next President of Nigeria,#Atikulately announcing he would return to my party, the @OfficialPDPNig.
“We in the PDP already have a good retirement package for President @MBuhari. Time to#ChangeTheChange.”
