31 killed in fresh Plateau blasts

No fewer than 31 persons have been confirmed dead in a twin blast in Jos, Plateau State on Thursday.
The blast occurred at a makeshift market near the Terminus Bus Station.
An earlier attack, attributed to Boko Haram, around the area in May left no fewer than 118 persons dead.
Confirming the number of casualties from the attack, Pam Ayuba, the spokesman of Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State, said: “The bodies recovered so far are 31, but rescue workers are at the scene and the figures may change.”
The police had shortly after the explosions said only six persons died.
