Fathia Balogun, Iyabo Ojo take supremacy battle to Toyin Aihmakhu’s wedding

The recent low key but highly hyped wedding of Yoruba actress, Toyin Aihkmakhu, to her Tinsel actor husband, Niyi Johnson, was almost disrupted following the drama that played out between Yoruba heavyweight actresses, Fathia Balogun and Iyabo Ojo.
The situation was said to have been put under control by the prompt intervention of some colleagues in the movie industry.
An eyewitness regaled to The Eagle Online that Balogun had arrived earlier than Ojo at the event, held last week Monday at Sabitex Hotel, Lekki, Lagos State, barely hours after the marriage registry took place at Ikoyi Registry, Lagos.
It was when Ojo arrived that trouble started.
She was said to have exchanged pleasantries with all actors and actresses at the event but Balogun complained that she did not add the prefix ‘aunty’ to her name as a sign of respect in Yorubaland.
Ojo, it was learnt, didn’t take it lightly with Balogun, who reportedly insisted knowing what Balogun would do if she refuses to add the prefix to her name.
