Plateau United extend NPFL lead

Plateau United outclassed Akwa United 3-0 in Jos on Sunday to stretch their lead on the Nigeria Professional Football League standings to five points

Sani Abbani and Sani Suleiman ensured El-Kanemi Warriors left the Pantami Stadium, Gombe with their tails firmly between their legs as their strikes, either side of half time proved decisive for Gombe United in the 2-0 victory.
